[He's had a pretty hard time stumbling around after his injury...but that doesn't really stop him. Whiny as he is, Badou had too much to do. Sure, he'd stayed mostly at home these past few days, but he's been very busy. No laying around, no unconsciousness for too long.

He's been developing the film he'd taken during the last job, carefully cultivated in the darkness of his nasty little bathroom, the chemicals would sting his nose if he wasn't used to this already.

So it's no surprise he's been so focused he's forgotten to do some stuff around the place, lately. And will probably not notice a new visitor in the form of his little old man buddy, either.]

[ Five groans in spite of himself as Grace urges him to drink some more water before she leaves him to rest. She readjusts his covers, and then turns on heel to leave him and Badou alone again. Though she pauses to rest a hand on Badou's shoulder. ]

Be sure to get some rest yourself. You are still healing too.

[ She advises and then she is out the door again. Five lies against the pillow, feeling like he's been hit by a truck. He holds his midsection as his ribs were still bruised and tender and all the arguing earlier has definitely put stress on them.]

Plan on lecturing more...?

[ He asks Badou with a bit of slur to his words. ]

[yeah, Badou will rest....when he's dead or made to be unconscious. and not the sleeping kind. Five looks all....little and hurt there. a little better now that he'll be on the mend, soon, but still. his brow furrows.]

Later. I don't think you'd get anything out of it half high like you are.

[ Five manages a soft scoff at that. Lightly he shakes his head, even as his eyes grow drowsy with that drug induced sleep. ]

Probably not...Badou...? [ He mutters sleepily, letting out a yawn.] I don't actually... [ He tries to hold back another yawn. ] I don't blame you...for what happened...

[ He manages to get out before sleep finally over takes him. ]

[he watches the slow, peaceful rise and fall of Five's chest for a moment, his expression stricken. by guilt, by sorrow-- maybe a smidgen of relief.]

You may not, but I do.

[so it's the least he can do to sit vigil for awhile longer, until sleep claims Badou as well]

[ Though she's certain that Five will still be asleep, Grace comes in to check on him. Bringing a new IV bag in and another round of antibiotics and pain medication in order to change things out, while he continues to rest.

However she's immediately greeted to the sight of Badou asleep in the chair beside Five's bed. It makes her smile as she quietly goes about changing out Five's IV and making sure his medication is set. Once done, she gently brushes her fingers over Five's forehead. He softly groans, but she gently shushes him.

She momentarily leaves the room, only to return with a blanket that uses to cover Badou. And then she quietly leaves the room, shutting the door behind her. ]
